We got into alpacas for a reason.  I (Serenna) grew up with animals and loved the outdoors.  After having our first 2 children I was really into horses.  I loved to ride and train them.  But when I had our 3rd daughter she was allergic to horses, goats, etc.  So I had to get rid of all our animals.  That was very, very hard for me.  So my husband and I started to really looking into alpacas because I read that they were hypo-allergic animals.  About 2 years before my 3rd daughter was born we saw a commercial on alpacas and thought they was very unique.  I looked them up and read about them but seen the prices and thought there is no way I could afford this then my daughter was born and I had no animals at our farm.  We took her and my other 2 girls to some farms and found that she did well with them.  But we still could not afford the prices.  The more research that I did the more I found that there is a business in fiber.  I went and visited a farm who had fiber/pets for sale and they were in my price range.  So I bought my first 3 boys and now we own 9 and have 10 fiber/pet animals that we are selling.  I am very happy with my fiber farm (soon breeding) because it suites my schedule with my girls and I have animals that I can take care of and not worry about my daughters getting hurt when they want to come and help me.  If you are looking for a pet that can make you some money and easy to take care of with a busy schedule please call and we would be glad to show you are loveable animals and our store.
